Tudor Cottage

Approximately 400 years old, one of three cottages around a well (still working but covered). Two of the cottages, including this one, have been divided into two, probably in the 17th century. The building has been altered many times. It probably began as a large room with a central fire, with wattle-and-daub walls (some of which are still there) and some oak beams. The latest alteration was the addition of a studio at the back, in 1997.
